Melissa Arnette Elliot was born on July 1, 1971 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She is a versatile woman who won the Grammy awards for five times in her career. She is an American rapper, singer, record producer and a songwriter. Her talents can be guessed from the fact that she is the sole rapper to have one double platinum albums and six platinum albums certified by the RIAA. She is credited for some extraordinary productions and lyric writings along with her co-producer Timbaland. She also wrote and produced songs for Aaliyah, Monica, Ciara, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey.
Elliott and Timbaland worked in collaboration to create songs for SWV and 702(Steelo and the remix). The most notable of the production duo's work features track creation for Aaliyah. Robert Sylvester Kelly was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 8th. He is an American songwriter, pop singer, American R&B and a rapper. He entered the world of music as the founder and lead singer of "Public Announcement". He was a versatile personality who could do rap, hip-hop, and could mix soul and funk with equal ease. Kelly was always on the list of controversies because of the sexual references on his songs such as "Bump N' Grind", Feelin' on Yo Booty" and "Ignition", which is a remix.
In the year 1994, he worked with Aaliyah for her debut album "Age Ain't Nothing But A Number". This was his first encounter with Aaliyah.
