Jazzy Pha Makes History With Singer Ciara

Phalon Anton Alexander, better known in the world of music as Jazzy Pha was born in Memphis, Tennessee in the year 1975. He is a versatile genius. He is a record producer, songwriter, rapper and a singer all blended into one. Jazzy Pha's debut hit was "Sho Nuff", which was an anthem from Tela. He worked with many great artists in his working career including, Missy Elliott (1, 2 step), Nelly, Ludacris, Trick, Lil' Wayne etc. He is also said to have brought R&B singer Ciara to the field of music through producing her solo album "Goodies" and has been her mentor.


Jazzy Pha however, rose to the arena of music with the 1990-released album "Rising to The Top". The album got much appreciation because of the positive lyrics thrust. Ron Wayne described the album of Jazzy as "A merger of West Coast hip-hop and a Southern-funk vocal approach". His own creation has the smell of his Memphis roots and that reflected on the songs that he produced later in his life. The classical soul approach of jazzy Pha's music is also noticeable in the slower tracks the likes of which he produced with R&B singer Ciara. Ciara's album "Thug Style" reflects such a phenomenon.


The R&B singer Ciara was first noticed by Pha around 2002-04. In the year 2005, Ciara's album "Goodies" was released which had the creation s of a musical genius and that instantly made the album a massive hit. During 2006, Ciara made an acting debut in the film Jelly Beans and released Ciara's "Sophomore".

Lil' John was born as Jonathan Smith on January 27, 1972 at Atlanta, Georgia; He is an American hype man, a rapper and producer. He is better known as the creator of a sub-genre of hip-hop music called "crunk". Crunk's most notable acts are his group "The Eastside Boys", which has Big Sam and Lil Bo as its members. Lil John and The Eastside Boys created "Put Yo Hood Up" in the year 2002 and in the same year, Lil John released his breakthrough album "King of Crunk" that reached the top twenty charts in the year 2003. His most recent album is the one that is going to deal with Rick Robinson, CEO of iMG Recordings. The album will come out in the recent year sometime later.


The music of Lil John has a strong flavor of the Miami Bass. His songs characterized by the Roland TR-808 kick, explicit lyrical comments and high dance tempos. His themes of the songs deal mainly with sex and sings songs that uses the expression of the Miami streets. His songs were versatile in the sense that some of them contain the disco flavors like in "What U Goin' Do". According to Philip Sherburne," Sharp, spiky rhythms, programmed on primitive drum machines and bass synthesizers". His music comprised of the dull trunk-thumping drums and crisp claps.
