The 1973 born American rapper took to rapping at a very early age and joined various
groups like the Basement Productions, The New Jacks and D12. He released a debut
album in the year 1997 through an independent label FBT named “Infinite” which was
hugely encored by the audience. His underground hits that were hugely popular include
“just Don’t Give a Fuck”. After the success of this album, Dr Dre signed Eminem to the
Aftermath. However, Eminem remained controversies’ most loved child as his songs
reflected “irresponsibility” according to the Christian moral majority who spoke against
the lyrics of his song “97 Bonnie & Claude”.
Eminem made the video “My Band” with D12 in the year 2004. The song acted as a
sarcastic answer to the portrayal of D12 as Eminem’s band that gives no importance and
value to other members of the concerned band. Mathers founded D12 in the year 2001
as a rap group with its debut album “Devil’s Night”.
The songs of the album like the “Purple Pills” were so controversial because of the lyrical
content that they were orderedto rewrite the song. Other hits of the album include
“Shit On You” and “Fight Music”. In the year 2004, they took out “D12 World” that featured
hits like “My Band”. In the year 2002, Eminem released three albums with 50-Cent under Aftermath and
collaborated with Dr Dre and D12. He also worked for G-funk and took out various
albums and singles that had his own signature.
Although Eminem under Aftermath took out various platinum and multiplatinum albums, the singer
is always known in the music circle as a straightforward artist who does not stammer to express his own beliefs.
