Rueben’s achievements

Rick Rueben has got six Grammy Awards for his musical performances
from 1998 to 2007. This great musician has got the award of Record of the
Year for the Dixie Chicks and Not Ready to Make Nice. The two albums
named Taking the Long Way and Dixie Chicks are very famous and he win
a Grammy Award for these two albums in 2007.

 

He got the Producer of
the Year of 2007 award for his non classical production.
Rueben is one of the pioneers of def jam in America. Russell Simons and
Rick Rueben is the joint founder of the hip hop musical culture. The two
great musician founded def jam records and that production house was
itself a revolution in the musical era of America.

 

 

Simons and Rueben got separated in the year 1988. Simons became the
only owner of def jam production in New York. After the separation
Rueben went to California. In Los Angeles Rueben was fighting for
establishing his new production house. At last Rueben formed Def
American Records in Los Angeles, California.

 

 

In 1993 the Def American
Records became American Recordings. Johnny Cash’s music recording
was the first recording done by American Recordings. He had worked
with famous heavy rock music in California like Danzig, Wolfsbane, masters
of reality etc.
Stripped down sound is the main feature of the well known producer Rick
Rueben.

 

 

Rueben has criticized for his video albums. Many people found it very
offensive. For those criticisms Rueben had to face various questions from
various sources. But his musical life did not have any pause.
