Russell Simons

Russell Simons, the founder of Russell Simons Music Group was born in New
York’s Queens on 4th October, 1957. He is the pioneer of Def jam in
America.
He is the pioneer of the Def Jam records in America and he introduced
the hip-hop culture to the Americans. The agony of the middle class
blacks inspired him to sing loud to blow up the civil society because he is
from that class.

His music was so relevant for that time when the entire
black middle class society was waiting for a blast. It was their necessity
and Simons is that person who came first and set fire to the explosives.
Simons was married to famous model Kimora Lee in 1998 when Simon was
at the age of 41 and she was at 23.

But the marriage was broken in March
2006 when Simons filed a divorce case officially. In the eight long year’s
relationship, Simons and Lee have two children. Ming Lee Simons and Aoki
Lee Simons are two daughters of the famous former couple.
He is also the founder of Def Jam Recordings and Rush Community.

These
two entertainment business houses are very popular in America. In the
year 1992 Simons founded a clothing company. That is the very famous
fashion company, Phat Fashion LLC.

The flagship brand of this company is
Phat Farm.
Simons has started various charitable institutes. Rush Philanthropic Arts
Foundation is one of the charitable foundations, established by Simons.
This organization donates money for arts programs in the black public
schools.
